Atlanta International Auto Show revs up again
The 2019 Ford Mustang is among the vehicles that will be on display at the 2018 Atlanta International Auto Show.
The Nissan ‘Star Wars’ vehicle, shaped like Poe’s X-Wing Fighter in ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi,’ is among the vehicles that will be on display at the 2018 Atlanta International Auto Show.
“It will definitely have something for everyone,” auto show spokesperson Betsy Griffin said in a news release.
The event is open March 21 and 22 from noon to 9 p.m., March 23 from noon to 10 p.m., March 24 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and March 25 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets are $12 for adults, $6 for children 6 to 12 and free for children under 6, and only cash will be accepted.
Shayne Wilson, president of the Metro Atlanta Auto Dealers Association, said people have a love affair with their cars, including driving them.
“Cars are an emotional deal for people, whether you are buying an economy vehicle or the most expensive one,” he said. “It is a big decision for people, and there is a great opportunity at the show. We have many people who have attended for years and are now bringing their kids.”
There will be vehicles at the show to suit every taste, with a wide variety of styles, including luxury cars, exotics, economy cars, family cars and many more styles, Griffin said. In addition, there will also be on display more than 500 new 2018 electric cars, imports, vans and sport utility vehicles.
Charles Ballard, a spokesman for Subaru, said the show will mark the debut of the Subaru Ascent for 2019.
On March 24 and 25, the show will be visited by Marvel Comics superheroes Spiderman, and Black Panther, with the Black Panther also appearing March 23.
In addition, there will be factory and dealer representatives to answer visitor questions, Griffin said, as well as Ride and Drive events. Atlanta International Auto Show revs up again | Community | mdjonline.com
